Super Cheap Hobby - Ultralight fishing in an Atlanta Creek

There's just something about fishing ...

Winding your way through the woods down creek beds, navigating obstacles, and catching a fish or two puts me into a very 'present' mentality.

I love how everything else just melts away when I get into the woods, or even just the local boat ramp for a few minutes of catch and release.

My telescoping cane pole is really light, easy to use, and easy to carry. I keep it in my car, ready to go fish whenever I've got the chance. The low maintenance and easy to use cane pole doesn't get in the way of just hanging out and taking a few minutes to myself.

There's no tangles, no mechanical parts to take care of, and no hassle. Pretty nifty.

I've started using fly fishing lures instead of baited hooks. It's been a heck of a lot of fun, and I don't have to worry about finding/using live bait anymore.

I'm thinking of trying out bass fishing with the cane pole in the next video. I think a texas-rigged plastic worm will do the trick.

Hope you enjoy the video. Have a great rest of your day. :)
